Led by Dr. Sarah Cahill, our clinic offers a compassionate and comprehensive approach to fertility, ensuring you receive personalised care.

Pre-pregnancy consultation

This is for all women who are planning a pregnancy, whatever the stage of your journey. Whether you are planning on starting a family, and want to ensure you are in the best health possible before trying to conceive.

Or if you've been trying to conceive without success, and are concerned about your fertility we can offer valuable insights and guidance. Usually, we would recommend that you seek help after 1 year of trying to conceive if  you are aged under 35; and after 6 months if 35 or over. However, we can see you at any stage if you have specific concerns.

Consultation will include:

  • Health Assessment: Evaluation of your overall health to identify any areas that could be improved in order to improve fertility.

  • Medical and Obstetric History Review: This is to help identify any previous or pre-existing factors that may affect fertility.

  • Menstrual Cycle Analysis: This is to help you better understand your menstrual cycle and identify your fertile window to provide the best possible chance of conception.

  • Coming off contraception: If you are using contraception we can discuss the best to go about stopping it in preparation for trying to conceive.

  • Lifestyle Advice: Discussion on how lifestyle factors and choices can affect fertility, and advice on how to make positive changes.

  • Supplement Recommendations: Advice on supplements to consider if you are trying to conceive.

  • Physical Examination

Consultations may include the following, where appropriate

  • Blood tests

  • AMH blood test (extra charge)

  • Referral to a fertility specialist
