Menopause Clinic

Personalised Menopause Services at LifeCycle Women's Health Clinic

While a natural part of a women’s lifecycle, going through peri-menopause and menopause can be challenging for many women, with symptoms that are unique to each individual.

At LifeCycle Women's Health Clinic in Salthill, Galway, we specialise in providing comprehensive support and treatment options for women experiencing menopause.

Our clinic, led by Dr. Sarah Cahill, is dedicated to helping you understand and manage your symptoms, ensuring you receive the care and advice needed during this change.

Your First Visit

  • Discuss your symptoms in order to understand what you are experiencing, and whether your symptoms are attributable to the menopause.

  • Review your medical history to identify any factors or pre-existing conditions that may influence your treatment for menopause.

  • Conduct a general examination to assess overall health - this includes a blood pressure (BP) reading and body mass index (BMI) checks.

  • Assess your risk for breast cancer, cardiovascular health problems, and osteoporosis.

  • Discuss your management and treatment options including lifestyle changes, hormonal treatments, and non-hormonal therapies

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Follow-Up

Patients who commence Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) will be provided with a structured review plan to monitor long-term care and adjust treatments as necessary. Patients will be reviewed after three months, and annually thereafter.
